Looking at the map demonstrates how interwoven the stories, quotes, songs, and persons on this page are, which shows how human lives and experiences are exponentially being formed between and across borders in the age of growing transnationalism.

 

Many are familiar with the senses of “home” or “destination,” even though these concepts may be real, imaginary, singular, or multiple. By mapping the places of origin and destinations of our primary and secondary sources, we hope to visualize various beginning and end points of migration. Indirectly, we may also see the certain points from which people can more easily publish and communicate knowledge.
